‘Blue Collar Moon Canvas’
A memory I will truly never forget as I sat on the shores of Nicaragua in my first season of Survivor. A gift for one of my closest brothers and friends. This mixed media piece of oil acrylic on canvas was a view of the night sky like never seen before. The glow of the moon rippling over the silhouette of the Nicaraguan jungle on the horizon. So many nights feeling trapped on our small sliver of paradise, staring up at the stars, praying dreaming, wishing, hoping, and starving as crabs crawl across your face and body. Beginning of a life, a changing journey that would change my course in life forever. A snapshot in time of the moment that was truly amazing and breathtaking. Sitting with other members of my tribe who little did I know, would eventually become some of my greatest friends and lifelong Tribemates.
